Stage Director

When I arrived in New York, I began presenting work as a choreographer after graduating in modern dance from the Merce Cunningham Studio and founded my production company. I went on to create award-winning short films, immersing myself in independent cinema and attending international film festivals, before deepening my relationship to storytelling and language through Atlantic Acting School’s Summer Intensive and Evening Conservatory programs. My directing is informed by my studies with Karen Kohlhaas (Atlantic), John Gould Rubin (LAByrinth), and Kelly Mauer (SITI), and shaped by a multifaceted practice spanning playwriting, acting, singing, producing, bilingual voiceover work, and over a decade leading groups as an educator.

I believe the world is yearning for a woman’s perspective, and that’s why I am determined to be part of a meaningful conversation as a theater artist. My goal is to be an attentive and meticulous collaborator – to realize a vision that is both aesthetically rigorous and emotionally brave.

Statement

My mission is to hold space for transformation and bring to light stories that speak to our shared humanity. As a director, I am drawn to characters grappling with inner darkness and the loss of hope, and to narratives that explore identity and purpose in a global culture.
By nourishing the audience’s imagination, I invite them to ask deeper questions, draw wisdom from the heart, and be inspired toward meaningful change. My work investigates space, rhythm, and movement, and approaches language with the care of a non-native English speaker. I believe the world is yearning for a woman’s perspective. My goal is to realize a collective vision that is both aesthetically rigorous and emotionally brave.
