Statement
My mission as a director is to hold space for transformation, shining a light on stories that speak to our shared humanity. I am drawn to characters who are grappling with their own darkness and losing hope due to their circumstances, as well as narratives that explore the quest for identity and purpose in our global culture.
Storytelling expands our consciousness, but we cannot telepathy our way into people’s brains, and knowledge is more powerful when it is earned. I aim to nourish the audience’s imagination with a nuanced perspective so they can draw their wisdom from the heart, and be inspired to take action toward positive change.
The world has been yearning for a woman’s perspective. My goal is to realize a collaborative vision that is aesthetically rigorous and emotionally brave, with an evocative rhythm that can hold our breaths in unity.
